Studio Khara has unveiled the opening video animation that debuted in Japan on July 30th, 2019. Titled “How not to summon a demon lord” and animated by Mahiro Maeda. The video starts out with an ordinary high school boy who is summoned to another world where he meets three people from his class at his new school: the beautiful girl elf; the one-eyed giant; and the shrine maiden priestess.
All of them are in combat and our protagonist must help save the world from an evil demon lord. The animation opens up with a scene that looks like it’s set on Earth, but then quickly introduces this otherworldly setting as well when we see two girls engrossed in battle against a large snake creature with fangs that extends its long neck around their arms and torso while they struggle helplessly.
