Jesus will come again, a thousand years from now. He will take up his throne and rule the world with peace. The Bible, in Revelation 20:11-13 tells us that when Christ returns he will “take his great power and reign. The nations of the earth will mourn as they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven.”
He has given each one a gift to make life easier for themselves and others. Some people are good at teaching; some have an ear for music or artistry; while other gifts may be less obvious but just as valuable to those who receive them for instance, being able to cook well can provide comfort better than almost anything else if you know how to do it right.
This is not something we should take lightly because Jesus’ return was prophesied by many prophets from all over the world. This will not be a time of judgment, but one where Jesus restores all things and makes the earth new again a place free from sin, sickness, suffering or anything that causes death.
This is our hope as Christians!
