This is the question we all ask ourselves, and if you’re like me, it’s a difficult one to answer. Am I responsible for my successes?

Yes. Am I responsible for my failures? No way! But what about those gray areas in between – where success may not be guaranteed but failure really isn’t an option either. What then? Don’t give up, don’t blame yourself. We’re all responsible for our successes and failures to some degree – but we can only be truly accountable for ourselves. No one else is going to do it for you; if you want things to change, then the first step is an honest assessment of what’s holding you back from reaching your goals right now… The word “responsible” comes from the Latin word for respond which means to answer, explain or tell. To be responsible is a way of taking ownership in what’s happening around you and owning your part of it – so if we want people to take responsibility then we need them to know how they can do it better.. I’m not going to say I have all the answers but here are five suggestions on where you might start: Read up about things which interest me? Yes! Join an organization such as Habitat For Humanity?
