It is this person that is most often the topic of our research. They will often tell stories similar to the ones we are interested in, but they will tell them in a way that makes it seem like they are “remembering” the story from a long time ago.
As a side note, the way that these stories are told can have a lot to do with the storyteller. There is a huge variety of storytellers in the world and we have discovered that many of them have an intense interest in remembering stories from long ago.
This is particularly true in the case of the storytellers we are interested in. We are looking for people who are interested in historical stories that are relevant to the game. We discovered that our interviewee in our research was the same person who told the story of his life from a long time ago. We also found out that our interviewee had a great interest in music and the world of music. Perhaps most significantly, we learned that our interviewee has a great interest in history.
