He was born in Kingston, Jamaica, and has been singing since he was a child. His father was also a singer, so it is no surprise that he followed in his footsteps.
In 2004, he released his debut album called Comin’ From Where I’m From which debuted at number one on Billboard’s Top Reggae Albums chart.
